The Exchange Series
Held 10:00 -10:30 AM, online, on the last Thursday of each month, The Exchange Series is bite-sized learning sessions on a wide range of topics that will help you to develop knowledge and skills for work and life. Sessions are delivered by Business in the Community member organisations, exclusively for Business in the Community member organisations.
Topics covered include: sustainable travel, water conservation, ethical sourcing, saving money, and more, are designed to inspire those leading the way in responsible business and help individuals to make more informed choices in their personal lives.

Covering the Cost of Living: Financial Foundations with Ulster Bank | 23 October 10:00 – 10:45 AM
Please note, this is a longer session and not on the last Thursday of the month as normal, to work around half term
Financial Foundations is Ulster Bank’s financial wellbeing programme for adults aged 18+, designed to help participants take control of their money and future. The programme provides money guidance to individuals in all life stages - from those starting out on their money journey, to those who are looking to polish up their existing skills or have been impacted by the financial implications of a life event. It is designed to empower adults to build their financial confidence and control, sustaining resilience to deal with the unexpected, get on track for a healthy financial future and to protect themselves from fraud & scams. Workshops are free, impartial and delivered by trained bank colleagues to any business, charity or community group, face to face or virtually.
This session aims to help participants tackle the increased cost of living by exploring budgeting tips, saving strategies, and what to do if they’re struggling with debt.
