Link & Learn | Unlocking Workforce Potential with Department for Communities

Exclusively for Business in the Community members, this session aims to give HR managers the tools to navigate the labour market and develop a diverse workforce. 

Facilitated by the Department for Communities, this session is aimed at HR managers and anyone responsible for recruitment; and will support them to effectively navigate the labour market and develop a diverse workforce. 

Attendees will gain an understanding of what the Department for Communities is currently doing to support people into work, the resources available to clients and how employers can take advantage of this. There will be a selection of case studies to share as examples of good practice. 

Topics covered include: 


  • The role of the Employer Services branch within the Department for Communities 
  • How employers can promote job vacancies 
  • An insight to the various work experience programmes within DFC that employers may wish to partner on 
  • Financial incentives available to support people into employment
