Caring for carers: supporting staff with caring responsibilities

Exclusively for Business in the Community members, this session aims to give employers advice and guidance on how to support staff with caring responsibilities.

Facilitated by Carers NI, this session will explore unpaid carers, the barriers they face entering or remaining in the workplace, and how supportive employers and carer-friendly workplaces can help.

The session will cover:

- Who is an unpaid carer?

- Barriers entering or remaining in employment

- How employers can help

- Support for employers

- Employers for Carers Programme and Carers Confident benchmark

   How it works  This session will take place on Zoom. Attendees will be emailed a secure link to join prior to the event.
