Biodiversity in Action: Learning and Nature Park Tour at ECOS

Business in the Community is hosting an in-person Introduction to Biodiversity event in partnership with Mid and East Antrim Borough Council at ECOS Hub, Ballymena. 

About this event

This event will introduce attendees to biodiversity and why it matters in a business and community context. It will explore the links between healthy ecosystems, climate resilience, responsible business and local action, helping participants understand the role they can play in protecting and restoring nature.

The session will be delivered by Traci Adams, Environment Programme Manager at Business in the Community, and will provide a clear and accessible introduction to biodiversity, the pressures facing nature, and practical steps organisations and individuals can take to support nature-positive action. 

Following the training, attendees will have lunch and networking time at ECOS Hub before taking part in a tour of the MEA ECOS centre.

This event is open to all. Attendees do not need to work for a Business in the Community member organisation; however, different rates will apply depending on whether their employer is a member or non-member organisation.
