Additional Information

The Breaking Down Barriers Ball is a night not to be missed. The evening will begin with a drinks reception from 7pm followed by a delicious three course meal. There will be music from Cork’s very own Love Bugs followed by a DJ until late. Not only that, there will be a Monster Raffle and plenty of other surprises on the night too.

Funds raised from the Breaking Down Barriers Ball will go towards Cope Foundation’s Ability@Work programme and Jigsaw’s One Good School ® initiative.

Ability@Work is a dedicated supported employment service which aims to bring young people with intellectual disabilities and /or autism closer to the labour market. This programme assists jobseekers at key transition points between education, training and employment.

Jigsaw’s new schools initiative, One Good School ® is aimed at supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people by developing a shared responsibility for mental health across the whole school community. A number of schools in Cork will participate in this programme from September 2019 with thanks to support from Lidl.
