“Leadership in Self-Organised Teams”

Agile management practices are often borrowed from IT, and widely used in modern organizations. HR and Accounting departments are using Scrum. Project work is carried out by the small teams, within flat management hierarchies. However, in IT and as well in the other areas transitioning to the contemporary organizational models does not guarantee increased productivity, decreased operational costs and higher quality of work. In order to reach these goals, the teams must be prepared to work in the self-organized environment. Otherwise, work processes, created for the associates with the high levels of personal responsibility and engagement will not be effective. Direct managers and team leaders are making the most influence on their team members. They are creating the workplace culture and are the enablers of a breakthrough to a higher productivity level. The last Gallup study (2019), based on the statistics across the companies from 160 countries over the last 30 years, states that “the quality of managers and team leaders is the single biggest factor in your organization’s long-term success”. Within the scope of the workshop managers and team, leaders will learn the techniques of building strong, result-oriented teams. The workshop is based on the proven in practice contemporary “Teal” approaches to self- management and self-organization.
