Jean-Luc Colombo Wine Dinner at Lake Park Bistro

Explore the creative and adventurous wines of France’s Jean-Luc Colombo during a special dinner at Lake Park Bistro on Wednesday, August 10.

Jean-Luc Colombo is one of France’s most talented and creative winemakers - he has been crafting first-class wines from the Northern Rhone Valley and Southern France since the early 1980s. A hands-on producer, Jean-Luc believes in a clean process of harvesting and barreling, as well as in-cask malolactic fermentation in new oak. Trained as a pharmacist, he brought new techniques to winemaking in the Northern Rhone Valley and shook up the winemaking industry there. His wines are quite different from the established winemakers in the region - focusing on creating fruit-forward and elegant wines.

Ian Ribowsky, long-time friend and colleague of Jean-Luc Colombo and General Manager of the winery’s US market, will be on hand for the evening. James Beard Award-winning chef Adam Siegel will create a five course meal which will perfectly complement Jean-Luc Colombo’s wines.
