Fresh from their highly successful weekly Berlin comedy night, 'Backlash Comedy' goes international! A night of dark, witty English comedy brought to you by Shawn Jay and Perry Eff.

Shawn Jay is an English-born, Berlin-based wandering vagabond philosopher searching for the meaning of life. He grew up in northern England before escaping to the continent as soon as he could. Under the spectre of Brexit, he's hoping he doesn't have to go back, though he's not sure whether he'd prefer a British or a German viral apocalypse. This is smart, dark comedy for thinkers. Prepare. Mentally.

Perry Eff is a half-Scottish, half-Greek comedian who is uncompromising, loud, and against anything that most people are for. Always funny, never a bore, and often outrageous.

Two comedians with contrasting styles in one show where these pair will be blasting your senses for an hour and a half with sharp observations, dark jokes and stories for the ages. Lock up your apprehension, and watch these guys throw away the key with extended sets of their best material. You can also take part in the game "Trash or Treasure", where you tell us what you hate the most, and we decide if it can stay in the world or disappear forever.

Shawn and Perry have toured Asia, New Zealand, Australia, and Europe, including a run at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe festival last summer. With over 15 years of collective experience, this is a night guaranteed to make you laugh.
