AVSPNI SA Evening Meeting - Cormac Dolan - Recognising and Treating Sepsis and Septic Shock in Dogs and Cats

BIOGRAPHY Cormac graduated from University College Dublin Veterinary School in 2017. He then undertook a 13-month small animal rotating internship in a private referral hospital in the United Kingdom. Following this, Cormac continued working in the same referral hospital as an emergency veterinarian for three years. Cormac then completed an Emergency and Critical Care speciality internship in 2022 in Vets Now Glasgow and followed this with a three-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care in the same institution. In 2025 Cormac passed his board examinations becoming a specialist in the European College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. In October 2025, Cormac took up the position of assistant professor in Emergency and Critical Care in University College Dublin. Cormac is currently undertaking a professional certificate in Veterinary Education in UCD.
