Anzac Day 2019

The Australian Embassy in Copenhagen is hosting an ANZAC Day Commemoration on 25 April and we invite all Australian and New Zealand citizens to join us, as well as our Danish friends.

ANZAC Day is the principal day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand for those who sacrificed their lives in the First World War and all subsequent military conflicts, as well as honouring our servicemen and women.

In Denmark we will gather on 25 April at the monument to the allied fallen at the Southern entrance of Kastellet for a dawn service. The Dawn Service will commence at 5.30am in front of the monument and will be followed by an indoor breakfast within Kastellet at approximately 6.10am.
