ASOS Tech Community UI #3
Our third event brings a slight rebrand but the same idea - inspiring tech talks in our familiar ASOS setting.
Our speakers include:
Microsoft's technical evangelist Martin Beeby (@thebeebs) will be talking about what the future holds for the World Wide Web
Stu Robson (@sturobson) will be talking about refactoring and improving existing code at Monotype, identifying pattern libraries along the way.
Our very own James Norton (@nortools) & Pedro Santos (@pedromsantos) will be talking about the Software Craftsmanship principle and how we're approaching it in ASOS.
As always, drinks (alcoholic & non) and pizza will be provided to create the perfect environment to learn, engage and enjoy an evening of tech talks.
Doors will open from 6.30pm with talks commencing promptly at 7pm. We'll be wrapped up for 9.30pm and will continue talks at The Lyttleton Arms over the road from our offices for those who would like to join us.
Thanks to our People Team for sponsoring the event and providing all the refreshments. Be sure to check out our Careers website for all our current vacancies in the Tech team - we're always recruiting across the entire remit of the tech process.
