Additional Information

Jared Platt, the industry's expert on Lightroom and photographic workflow, is joining us this month to demonstrate best practices for commercial photographers using Lightroom Classic CC. If you’re curious about using Lightroom, want to have a better grasp on its features, or want to compare it to the tools you’re currently using, this lecture is a can’t-miss opportunity. Jared will give you a great foundation (or refresher) on the ins and outs of Lightroom’s powerful and ever-expanding suite of image manipulation tools. You’ll also learn great techniques to make Lightroom tethered capture more reliable, quickly and easily deliver your images, and find images in your portfolio in seconds. Really looking to up your tech savvy? Jared will even talk about how to remotely include your clients on a photo shoot. In addition, there will be plenty of time for Q&A, so come with your burning questions and get them answered by Adobe's Lightroom guru.

Finding the Venue

If you've ever been to Markow Southwest or TetherTools HQ, or if you used to shop at Photomark, you know what you're looking for! If you're newer to the area, the large "Phoenix Photo District" logo painted out front will let you know you're in the right place.

The entrance to the studio is in the rear of the building, inside the gated parking lot. You'll find the large black Parkwood Photo Studios door toward the far end.

Parking

Enter off McDowell Road, turning onto 22nd Place (just east of the building). Parking is available in the front of the building, in the gated parking lot behind the building, and along the side streets. If you park on the side streets, please help us be good neighbors and don't block any cars or driveways!
