Join us in Oxford for Aviation Pride UK's first Student Social, held in conjunction with our First Class sponsor, Leading Edge Aviation, followed by an official after-party at Glamorous in the evening.
This relaxed event is primarily for LGBTQ+ students, trainees and anyone considering a future across the aviation industry, as well as allies who support APUK’s mission.
Although student-focused, everyone is welcome, and we particularly encourage experienced aviation professionals to attend, share their journeys and offer advice to those taking their first steps into the industry.

APUK is excited to be hosting its first Student Social in Oxford on Saturday 12 September 2026, held in conjunction with our First Class sponsor, Leading Edge Aviation.
This relaxed evening event is for LGBTQ+ students, trainees and anyone considering a future across the aviation industry. Whether your interests lie in flying, cabin crew, engineering, air traffic control, airport operations, aviation management or another area of aviation, you will be very welcome.
Tickets are completely free, but advance registration is required as places will be limited.
Guests will be welcomed with an arrival drink, with complimentary drinks also available during the evening. There will be guest speakers, pilots and representatives from aviation organisations, alongside plenty of time to meet others, exchange experiences and build new friendships and professional contacts.
Those already established in aviation are also warmly encouraged to attend, share their own journey and offer advice and support to people taking their first steps into the industry.
Everyone is welcome, whether you are currently studying or training, considering an aviation career, already working in the industry or simply interested in supporting LGBTQ+ people and the next generation across aviation.
For anyone who would like to continue the evening, there will also be an informal after-party at Glamorous in Oxford from 8pm. There will be free entry event attendees.
