NodeConf EU returns to Bologna on 14–15 September 2027

In 2026, Europe's longest-running Node.js conference left its secluded Irish island for Italy, and the community followed. For 2027 we're going back to the same city and the same venue, building on what worked: a sharper, warmer Node.js gathering for Europe.

The Savoia Regency Hotel is an 18th-century villa set in a lush 10,000 square meter park, just five kilometers from the center of Bologna. It has a dedicated conference center, a restaurant serving the flavors of Emilia-Romagna, an outdoor pool, and free parking. Talks, coffee breaks and lunches all happen under one roof, and between sessions you step out into a quiet garden instead of a sterile corridor.

NodeConf EU is not about size. It's about the spark that happens when new ideas are born. It brings together the developers, maintainers, staff engineers and library authors who shape the Node.js ecosystem for two days of main-stage talks, plus the kind of conversations that only happen away from the everyday. Last year's 24 talks covered runtimes, observability, security, performance and the future of Node.js, and all of them are now on YouTube. The 2027 program will pick up where they left off and dig into the topics shaping Node.js today.

Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ) is just 9 km from the venue. Bologna Centrale station connects to all major Italian and European cities by high-speed rail, and the hotel is 1.5 km from the A14 motorway.
