Held over one weekend, this small group interactive antenatal class is ideal from week 24 in pregnancy onwards. This workshop is hosted by Germaine Creevy, Cuidiú Antenatal Ireland Educator, birth doula & postpartum doula , massage therapist & baby massage instructor.

This class will help you and your birth partner to prepare for a positive birth, boost your confidence and support you in making informed decisions for birth and early parenting. In order to optimise your learning, groups are small (maximum 8 couples/pairs) which allows our teachers to tailor the class to your individual needs. Everyone has time to get their questions answered and to practice skills needed for labour and early parenthood.

  • Role of the partner
  • Pain relief options
  • Relaxation and breathing techniques
  • Comfort measures
  • Positions for labour and birth that reduce pain and risk of labour stalling
  • Medical Interventions (e.g. induction, caesarean)
  • Early days with your newborn/ infant care
  • Postpartum care and breastfeeding basics
  • and lots, lots more!

Hosted by Germaine Creevy, Cuidiú trained and Fedant registered to teach Antenatal Ireland classes.
