We are delighted to be able to offer a very interactive antenatal workshop to local parents. This workshop will be hosted by Mim Hanan Moran. Mim Hanan Moran is a Cuidiú Antenatal Ireland Antenatal Educator, Registered Doula and Birth Trauma Resolution Practitioner

This class takes place on Saturday 24th August and runs from 10 00am to 5 30pm.

This class will help you to prepare for birth and early parenting. To optimise your learning, we keep our groups small (maximum 8 couples) and use adult learning techniques. We also tailor our classes to your needs, so all questions are welcome.

Topics / Areas covered:

1. Preparing your body for labour and birth.
2. The signs of labour and how labour 'works'.
3. When to go into hospital.
4. Role of the partner.
5. Managing your contractions - the medication, breathing, relaxation etc.
6. Interventions which may take place (including caesarean section).
7. Care of you and your baby after birth (including breastfeeding).

All attendees will receive an annual membership to Cuidiú.
