Affect Volunteering: Meals on Wheels
Spinning off our regular conference-entwined Group Volunteering Half-Day, Affect is now hosting a volunteer activity on Sunday, November 5, from 10:30am-12:00pm to help decorate placemats on behalf of Meals on Wheels People.
Placemats and decorating materials will be provided, while RSVPs will help us figure out how much space we need. The current plan is to meet at Upper Left Roasters in Southeast Portland, which offers coffee, tea, and some light food options (toast, sandwiches, tofu salad).

What to expect
Affect's Code of Conduct will be in effect during the event. Our location will be Upper Left Roasters in SE Portland, which is a cafe with 2 single-stall all-gender restrooms, manual doors, and wide spaces for physical access. If you have any particular accessibility needs (e.g. help with the door), please feel free to reach out to hello@affectconf.com.
Getting here
Street parking is available, if arriving by car. Otherwise, the cafe is 700 ft (if taking the 14) to .25mi (if taking the 4) from public transit stops.
