Small Plate Speed Date is perfect for anyone who likes eating out, meeting new people and enjoying new experiences. You might meet the love of your life, make a new friend, find someone to eat out with or simply enjoy a great night out!

During the evening you will have 10 mini dinner dates each lasting six minutes. Meet & chat over a delicious vegetarian small plate and see whether you’d like to get to know each other better in the future.

There will be plenty of time to speak to people during the breaks and after the event too. At the end of the night you tell us who you want to see again and a few days later we will be in touch with your matches.

Your hosts for the night will make sure you feel at ease, ready to mingle and in the mood for a tasty treat! We will inspire you with questions and delicious food and ensure you have an evening to remember. No dress code, just come as you are. Individuals and groups both welcome.

Tickets are £25pp and, as well as your speed dates, it includes a 10 course tasting menu of vegetarian food from the Recipe For Gluttony pop-up kitchen. The evening starts at 7.30pm, please come and register before 7.15pm.

We are serving a contemporary menu with an emphasis on local seasonal produce, all vegetarian and designed to be eaten as part of your mini dinner date. Enjoy a mushroom consommé, taste hazlenut and mushroom tartlets and delight in frozen praline nougat.

The event will take place at COB in Cobden Chambers, Nottingham – just off Pelham Street. It’s a beautiful new cafe space hidden away in the heart of the city, with cool interiors, lovely staff and great food.
