#Festive500 - Rapha Manchester Rides

For some the last days of December are all about the traditional celebrations, for us its all about celebrating the #Festive500.

In 2010 we laid down a challenge: ride 500km in the eight days between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Since then the Festive 500 has become a holiday tradition, with thousands of riders around the world taking part. Every finisher earns a woven badge, and the best story submissions win amazing prizes.

In order to nail the distance and still have plenty of time for family and other commitments, we recommend to plan properly. Please find below all the rides, information and sign-up.

Bad Weather Policy

The Festive 500 is huge challenge to complete for many reasons, adverse weather being one, and Rapha will always prioritise rider safety. Extreme weather conditions can make a difference to your riding, affecting your ability to see, handle your bike and ride in a group safely. For this reason, if Rapha deems conditions to be hazardous, the ride may be cancelled, or amended at late notice. This will be communicated on the APP to RCC members and via email to riders who have signed up. While we will endeavour to give advance warning, this can not always be guaranteed.
