Into Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology and Military/Veterans research? Join the George Mason University Applied I-O Psychology program's Military and Veteran's Research Community of Practice (MAVRC).
We welcome active duty military personnel, veterans, spouses, researchers working with these populations, or people with no military connections who simply want to learn and network with these groups.
Our guest speaker is Dr. Michael Hay, a Research Psychologist with the Army’s Applied Research and Analytics Directorate, specializing in modernizing tactical leadership training and cognitive stress-testing within Combat Training Centers. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Louisiana State University and previously worked on the Army's Command Assessment Program. His work focuses on optimizing human-machine teaming and leadership decision-making under operational stress.
Dr. Hay will speak on Four Deadly Sins of Generative AI for Leaders and How to Mitigate Them.
