I'm not a person of color. Can I attend?

Yup! We welcome all people to this event.

Are there minimum age requirements to attend the event?

We welcome people of all ages!

Do I need to be in the games industry to attend?

No! We welcome people from outside the industry. Whether you're a fan of games or just curious, you'll have a blast at our event.

Is the Game Devs of Color Expo online or in-person?

Game Devs of Color Expo is held entirely online! The conferences, panels, and game dev interviews are all hosted on Swapcard – our online event platform.

What is a Watch Party? 

At a GDoCExpo Watch Party, local communities gather together in-person at a venue to watch the same conference as online attendees. Official GDoCExpo Watch Parties are listed on our website and shared in our newsletter!

I bought a ticket. How do I log in?

The 2025 Game Devs of Color Expo Online will take place on Swapcard – our online event platform. You'll be emailed with instructions when it’s close to the event.

After registering for this year's event, search your inbox for an email from Swapcard – our online event platform. If you haven't received an email yet, try opening the schedule and logging in/creating an account using the same email you used to get your ticket.

If I can't watch all the talks, will I be able to watch them later?

Yes, virtual tickets include the ability to rewatch any talk, panel, or interview in our online event space on demand. After several months, we will begin to publish videos one-by-one on YouTube. Buying a ticket is the best way to access everything as soon as possible.
