FÁILTE SWING Weekender with Jessy & Will
We are sooo excited to welcome the amazing Jessy and Will to Dublin for the first time. They have been winning hearts (and competitions) across Europe with their playful, dynamic, and joyous style.
The weekend will include parties on Friday and Saturday night with the best swing jazz musicians and DJs for your listening and dancing pleasure. There will be a special teacher's performance, a fun Mix and Match competition and 2 levels of classes on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

TEACHERS: Jessy Miller trained in classical Ballet and Tap before finding her passion in Lindy Hop. Jessy fell in love with the culture and the music of the dance and values expression and authenticity. You can expect Jessy’s teaching to focus on taking risks, exploring new movements, and solid rhythms. Jessy & Will train as much as they can and social dance as often as possible in London. In London, she is part of the London Jazz Works team, running socials and teaching regular classes.
Will Fulton spent his pre-dance years in the world of professional rugby and tries to bring that same work ethic and energy to his dancing. On the rare occasion they are not abroad sharing their passion for swing dancing, Will teaches classes and weekend workshops with Jessy in their home city of London. A melting pot of creativity, the city offers endless inspiration to dancers and it has hugely shaped Will’s dancing. You can expect Will’s teaching to focus on clean basics, interesting rhythms and unfamiliar power moves.

CAN'T MAKE IT:
We offer refunds up to 14 days before the event starts. Please note the 10% booking fee is non-refundable. Tickets are not transferable to another event. You can transfer your ticket to someone else on Tito if you sell it.
T-SHIRTS:
We will have some FÁILTE SWING organic cotton vegan T-shirts for sale for €20. They come in vintage white and charcoal black with standard and fitted versions. There are only a few in each size so don't miss out.
TRAVEL:
There is plenty of parking at Leinster Cricket Club and Rathmines has excellent bus services. Rathmines is about a half an hour walk or 10 minute cycle to the city centre. There is limited paid parking in the streets near to Dublin Studio and it's a 15 minute walk from the city centre.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME:
We really want to promote an inclusive culture where everyone feels part of the fun from the first time dancer to the pros. Some of our friends have come together to develop a code for swing dance events in Ireland to help remind us all to be kind to one another. This event is organised with the support of the Dublin Swing Dance Society, a volunteer organisation of local dancers who are passionate about fun, open and safe swing dance events.
