A Tribute to Alice Parker

Join the Capitol Hill Chorale for "A Tribute to Alice Parker" on Saturday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 16 at 4 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Reformation.

Alice Parker (1925-2023) was an influential American composer, arranger and teacher. Though best known for her arrangements for the Robert Shaw Chorale, she went on to produce masterworks of the choral canon. The concert will feature standards such as “Deep River,” “My Gentle Harp”, “Garden Hymn” and “Hark, I hear the Harps Eternal.”
