Human Rights Award 2021

The annual Human Rights Award is awarded by the Human Rights Committee of The Bar of Ireland in appreciation of outstanding contributions in the field of human rights.
Past recipients of the award include Dr Michael Ryan, Executive Director, World Health Organization, Catherine Corless, the Irish Naval Service, Orla Tinsley and Tomáš Reichental.
The 2021 recipient will be announced via In Brief on Monday 22nd November and they will be awarded at a live virtual event on Thursday 25th November. All members welcome!

The Bar of Ireland is the term used to describe an independent referral bar that has a current membership of approximately 2,300 practising barristers.
