Kiamaina Talk & Taste - Dublin & Northern Ireland

Tasting and Talk showcasing a coffee named Kenya Kiamaina AA: Washed SL28 & SL34, a remarkably high quality coffee from a factory named Kiamaina, managed by Kiama Farmers Co-operative Society which is located in the Nyeri County, in Kenya. The event will be taking place in both Dublin and Ballymena, Northern Ireland.

What makes this event so interesting, is that our very own 3fe Roaster Simon will be speaking at it. This is a coffee and farm that is very close to Simons heart, as he had the incredible opportunity to accompany our green buyer Stephen Leighton on a trip to Kenya last year, with Kiamaina being one of the sites that they visited.

At the event, Simon will tell us first hand some amazing facts & information about the coffee and the farm, as well as showing many photos and videos he took while visiting. On the day, guests will be within some of the first in Ireland to taste this years harvest of this fantastic and unique coffee, and will experience the coffee as a filter, an espresso and with milk, giving them an entire overview of what it has to offer.

Each guest will also take home a bag of the Kiamaina coffee, before they go on sale to general public. Tickets cost €20/£20. This will include entrance to the talk, your coffee at the event and a take home 250g bag of Kiamaina. Places will be very limited, so book early to avoid dissapointment by following this link.
