Empire Records & Clerks: A Rex Manning Day Special

The time to hesitate is through.

Come celebrate Rex Manning Day with 20th Century Flicks and a double bill of our favourite nineties movies as they were never meant to be seen… Through a multi million pound speaker system on a frikkin ginormous screen!

“We mustn’t dwell… no, not today. We can’t. Not on Rex Manning day!”

Empire Records (1995): This comedy cult sensation about the young slackers and dreamers that hang around a local record store. In one of the most dynamic song scores ever, tunes by Gin Blossoms, The Cranberries, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Cracker, Evan Dando, Better Than Ezra and more set off virtually every scene.

Doors open at 5.30pm. Empire Records will start at 6pm (no ads, no trailers!)

“I find it best to stay out of other people’s affairs”

Clerks (1994): Kevin Smith's cult comedy classic and sacred text of every video shop worker. Witness the adventures of clerks Dante and Randal, two guys just trying to make the best of menial labor in a convenience store and a neighbouring video shop. With constant interference from the outlandish Jay and Silent Bob - follow the clerks' wildly improbable antics from one riotous episode to the next! Filled with big laughs, a lo fi soundtrack and hysterical jabs at (niche mid nineties) popular culture!

Doors open at 5.30pm. Clerks will start at 8pm (no ads, no trailers!)
