Rebasing on what DevOps nowadays really is, this interactive session explores how to continuously deliver valuable outcome to users. 

While we discuss a fresh lens on DevOps, we blend an industrial and an academic perspective, and integrate DevOps with an array of concepts including digitalization and SRE.

Talk 2: DevOps XXL: Stop Flying Blind, by Leveraging Observability

We shed light on DevOps in large scale and zoom in to Observability as one way to scale-up. Stemming from different languages, standards, tools and platforms, we unbox good practices and pitfalls while moving to a data-informed approach in large setups.

Dr. Michael Hüttermann is a Principal Delivery Engineer. Michael supports large enterprises implementing DevOps. He has written a couple of books including “DevOps for Developers” and “Agile ALM” and has given talks at leading conferences (e.g., JavaOne, Devoxx) since the early years of this millennium. Michael is “Java Champion” since 2006.
